My Friend Luke

“Hi, my name is Lily. Y’know, I might have to change my mind about my friend Luke, who was playing hard to get on my princessing day … He really is a handsome chap, and we all know that princes have to be handsome.”

“He looks so smart, too, in his funky shirt … and everyone knows that a girl loves a sharp-dressed man. Especially one in a tie … Boopy-doop!”

My Latest Weekend in Sligo

“Hi, my name is Lily. Golly-gosh, but I had a busy weekend in Sligo. First Granny wanted to show me the bee-yoo-tiful basket she got in Sorrento, but we should probably ‘skip’ the details about how she got it … Isn’t that right, Granny?”

“Then I had to have my usual chat with Grandad. What I like about Grandad is he never talks to me like I’m deaf or stupid, like Ol’ Sillyput does. We always have a nice chat, me and Grandad …”

“Then, just when I was in the middle of doing my yoga, all my cousins came to visit. Golly-gosh, but they’re all lovely … I hope I’m as lovely as Katie, Ana, Éba and Nola when I grow up to be five.”

“There, that’s better … Thanks for taking me out to the garden, Katie. A girl needs some room to get her yoga done properly. Okay, after me – one-stretch, two-stretch, three-stretch … Boopy-doop!”

My Lovely Weekend

“Hi, my name is Lily. Sometimes my daddy, Ol’ Sillyput, is so busy I have ask mum to put on my special bib. Sillyput? Read the bib – I NEED LOTS OF HUGS!”

“Anyhoos, yesterday he took the hint, and we went for a lovely walk. We saw some big horsies and doggies, and then we had a picnic by the river. Isn’t life great when your picnic comes in a bottle? And when a ‘walk’ means being pushed around in your throne?”

“Afterwards, Sillyput was too ‘busy’ to magic the pictures of our lovely walk onto the interweb, so my mum and me had to do it ourselves. I mean, really – since when is a princess supposed to do her own dirty work? Boopy-doop!”

My Busy Busy Week

“Hi, my name is Lily. My friend Luke says he isn’t happy about my new friend Sean. Erm, exsqueeze me, Luke? Playing hard to get is a little girl’s prerogative …”

“Now this is the kind of attention a little girl not only wants but deserves. Just so you know for future reference …”

“Anyhoos, boys are silly. I much prefer hats. Even if the hat is my Granny B’s. Granny? Don’t let anyone make fun of your hat. You and me, we might not always be in fashion, but we’re always in style …”

“Finally, I started on solid food last week. Yum-yum! Ol’ Sillyput isn’t very good at aiming the spoon at my mouth, and he manages to get most of it on my nose and chin. Sillyput? Less of the ‘aeroplane’ messing, please. Just put the spoon in my mouth. And next time, make it a silver one. Boopy-doop!”

Some Princessing Day Pictures

“Hi, my name is Lily. As some of you know, I had my Princessing Day last Sunday, and my glamorous aunt Kathy took some lovely pictures. It all started off so well, with me getting dressed in my fairy princess dress …”

“ … but then Ol’ Sillyput and Mrs Sillyput insisted that I have my hair washed – while I was wearing my lovely dress! They really are such sillyputs …”

“But I forgive them, because they can’t help themselves and because I think I might want another Princessing Day soon. Like maybe next Sunday. Sillyput? Get booping.”

More Pics From My Princessing Weekend

“Hi, my name is Lily. Silly ol’ Sillyput still hasn’t managed to get around to magicking up my photographs from my actual princessing day on Sunday, but here’s some more pics from the weekend. First here’s my Granny and me out in the back garden being Pink Ladies together …”

“ … and here’s one that my friend Luke might not like. Sorry, Luke, but Sean is a nice friend too. And a princess has to keep her options open, right? Especially when there’s so many princes around these days. Boopy-doop!”

My Big Day Out … In The Back Garden

“Hi, I’m Lily. I had a great day yesterday on my big Princessing day, even though silly ol’ Sillyput kept on calling it my christening. Anyhoos, just before we all went off to my new castle with the big pointy bit at the front, my Grandad – who wants to be called ‘Wings’ from now on, for some reason – and Granny took me out to the back garden for a photograph. The silly boopy-doops forgot to take off the double-bib rig-out Sillyput made me wore, but I’ll be putting up other pics in the next few days so you can all see my wonderful Princess dress then. In the meantime, boopsters – keeping booping!”
