My Lovely Walk in the Woods

“Hi, my name is Lily. Yesterday I went for a lovely walk in the woods with my Lovely Mum and Ol’ Sillyput. In case you’re wondering where he is, we don’t let Ol’ Sillyput into the pictures anymore. He ruins them.”

“Anyhoos, we walked for miles and miles and miles. Well, Lovely Mum and Sillyput did. You don’t expect a princess to actually walk when she goes for a walk in the woods, do you?”

“It’s still a tiring business, though. I don’t think people understand just how exhausting it is to be a princess. Yawn.”

“What made it worse was Sillyput insisted on stopped every three seconds to take pictures of trees. I mean, trees? Oi, Sillyput! Don’t you know the poem? “I think that I shall never see / A tree as lovely as a Boopster.” Point that blummin’ camera over here!”

“Now where’s that Sillyput gone? Golly-gosh but it’s lovely and toasty inside my snow-suit. I think I’ll have a snooze. Mmmmm. Boopy-zzzzzzzzzz ...”

Tigger and Me

“Hi, I’m Lily. Yesterday me and my Mum had a game of ‘Put the Boopster the wrong way round in the Tigger bouncer’. Oh, how we laughed … Mum? You’re a Boopster.”

“Anyhoos, here’s me sneaking away in my friend Luke’s Tigger bouncer. Bye-bye …”

“I’m nearly gone now. See you …”

“Golly-gosh, I’ll soon be gone …”

“But I’m back! Because it’s not just a Tigger bouncer, it’s a Tigger swinger too! But Mum didn’t realise!!! Oh how I laughed.”

“Sorry, Mum, I’m the world’s biggest Boopster. Boopy-doop!”

My Busy-Busy Friday

“Hi, my name is Lily. Some days my Dad, Ol’ Sillyput, is a right old boopster. I mean, imagine taking a picture of a princess even before she’s had a chance to get dressed. DAD!!! That’s my friend Sleepy-Time Bear, by the way. He’s great for snuggles.”

“That’s better, now I’m a ‘Beautiful Butterfly’. I’m not a butterfly, of course, I’m a little girl. It’s just a metaphor. Anyhoos, me and Ol’ Sillyput always like a little playtime on the mat before I go off to my other house where all my friends live. Oi, Sillyput! Isn’t it time for elevenses yet?”

“And here I am back home again, for another play on the mat. Sheesh, it’s a busy-busy world when you’re a little girl. Now where’s Ol’ Sillyput gone? My tummy’s rumbling.”

“There he is! Hi, Sillyput. Isn’t it time for dinner yet? Oh, and could you please do that terrible thing you do with the handkerchief? It’s droolie heaven over here. Boopy-doop!”

It’s The Way I Tell ’Em

“ … and then I said, “Well, I might be boopy, but you’re a big poopy!” Oh how we laughed, didn’t we Granny and Granda? And then we stopped. Because little princesses shouldn’t know words like ‘poopy’, let alone be able to rhyme them. I blame the parents myself. Boopy-doop!”

A Visit With Granny B and Granda P

“Hi, I’m Lily. Golly-gosh, but I do like to visit my Granny B and Granda P … Hurry up and make those arrangements, Mum!”

“Ah, that’s better … A princess can never have enough cuddles from her Granda Paddy …”

“And if there’s anything better than cuddles from Granda Paddy, it’s cuddles from Granny Betty. I mean, when a princess says she wants to sit at the head of the table, she means at the head of the table! Boopy-doop!”

My Latest Weekend

“Hi, my name is Lily. It was really cold last weekend, so Sillyput got out the lovely snow-suit Granny Kay bought for me so we could go visit Granny B and Granda P. Golly-gosh, I was warm and toasty in that snow-suit, Granny Kay. In another few months, I might even get to pop my hands and feet out of the arms and legs. That’ll be fun.”

“Anyhoos, it was lovely to spend the whole afternoon with Granny B and Granda P – I always have great fun in their house because they let me play with my cousins Eva and Conor’s toys. Don’t tell Eva and Conor, Granny B – it’ll be our secret. Ssssshhh.”

“By the way, I cut my first tooth last Wednesday, which wasn’t much fun at the time, but as Ol’ Sillyput says, sometimes if you don’t laugh you’ll only cry. I like to do both, actually, just to keep Sillyput on his toes. If you look closely enough, you can even see my new tooth. Boopy-doop!”
