“Hi, my name is Lily. Golly-gosh, but I do love a good playtime. Here I am playing with my cousins Éba and Ana – I’m playing sandpit, they’re playing aeroplanes. Oh well, so long as we’re all having fun, I suppose.”
“And here I am playing bubbles with their lovely Mum, Auntie Oonagh. Bubbles are nice! Poor Auntie Oonagh – she isn’t surprised or amazed in this picture, she always looks like that. We’re hoping the wind will change some day.”
“Anyway, my favourite playtime is on the swings. Push, Sillyput, push! Wheeeeeee! Boopy-doop.”

Brat! Lily told me that day, actually at that very moment that I was one of the most beautiful 'girls' she had ever seen. At least thats what I understood her to say, when she baby talked, 'back' and 'bus'. Its funny there weren't any buses in Avondale House that day that I can remember
