My Trip to the Zoo

“Hi, my name is Lily. Last weekend I took the Sillyputs and my Granddads and Grannies to the zoo. Hi, Grannies and Granddads!”

“What’s that over there, Sillyput?”

“Oooh, what’s that over there, Granda P?”

“Oh, it’s just the Sillyputs arguing about who’s the biggest Sillyput. Except they both are! Boom-boom!”

“Anyway, we all got home and I went for an upside-down play on my lovely new rug, which my Auntie Finn made. Gosh, it really is a lovely rug. Auntie Finn? I’d love a hug to go with my rug. Boopy-doop!”

Corn on the Cob

“Hi, my name is Lily. Golly-gosh, but I do love corn on the cob. Yummy-yummy-yummy, I got corn in my tummy …”

“I mean, I LOVE CORN ON THE COB!!! More, please, Lovely Mum! Boopy-doop.”

Fun and Games

“Hi, my name is Lily. Some days it’s nice to go to the playground and have a good old boop. Here’s me and Ol’ Sillyput on the slide. Erm, Sillyput? It’s called a, y’know, slide. As in, slide. Are you stuck?”

“Sheesh, let’s try the swings instead. Hello? Anyone? Any chance of a push?”

“Hurrah, that’s better! There’s nothing like a good swing. Thanks, Lovely Mum and Auntie Fi. Altogether now – wheeeeeeeeeee! Boopy-doop.”

Did I Mention I Went To Italy On My Holidays?

“Hi, my name is Lily. Golly-gosh, a princess is always supposed to hide her identity when she goes on holiday, in case the blummin’ paparazzi find her. Oh look, is that a cameraman in the bushes over there?”

“Geez, just when I’m out for a nice day being pushed around in my Princess Stroller, the blummin’ press turn up again. Like, can’t a girl get some peace around here?”

“Ah, that’s better. A nice, quiet courtyard, a lovely frock, and the tail feather of an albino peacock – what more could a princess want? Yes, I know, there doesn’t seem to be much point in being an albino peacock, but that’s what they are. I don’t know, maybe they got fed up with the paparazzi photographing them all the time, so they just turned themselves white? Boopy-doop!”

More Pics from My Holiday in Italy

“Hi, my name is Lily. Golly-gosh, my holiday in Italy would have been an awful lot more fun if Ol’ Sillyput hadn’t come along. He never left me alone! Here we are on the plane on the way to Italy …”

“ … and here we are at the restaurant. Golly-gosh, Daddy – can’t a girl even eat her sketti in peace?”

“Help! Someone help me escape from Ol’ Sillyput!! Anyone at all!!!”

“Hurrah, I’m off and gone! No one can stop me now … The world and all its mischief will be mine!!! Boopy-doop.”

My Holiday in Italy

“Hi, my name is Lily. As some of you know, I went to Italy last week. It wasn’t much of a holiday, though. I mean, golly-gosh, you have to entertain the Sillyputs all the blummin’ time. Here’s me taking Lovely Mum for a walk in Bergamo’s Old Town.”

“And here’s me showing Auntie Fi how to feed the ducks at Siriminone on Lake Garda. Altogether now, quack-quack!”

“And here’s me taking Lovely Mum for a walk at Lake Garda. Hmmm, I think I’ll throw the world a kiss. Some days the world just deserves a kiss from its princess.”

“And here’s me taking Ol’ Sillyput for a walk in … Woah! This is me and Ol’ Sillyput having a snooze. Maybe that’s because all Ol’ Sillyput did for the holiday was snooze. He calls it a ‘siesta’, and says 60 million Mexicans can’t all be wrong. Erm, Sillyput? We were in Italy, not Mexico. Boopy-doop!”
